What the final price means

The final price depends on the actual scope of the work. Anything above the confirmed estimate is agreed with you in advance.

Paid parking and documented third-party costs are charged at their actual receipted amount, only where they cannot be avoided. They are never discounted and never surcharged.

  • What does a handyman cost?

    A standalone visit in Prague starts with the 249 CZK call-out and the 690 CZK first hour of work. Many common jobs have a starting price — they are listed above.

  • How does the first hour work?

    The first hour started is charged in full and is the minimum for a standalone visit. After that we bill in 30-minute steps at 245 CZK for each 30 minutes started. Two half-hour jobs in one visit are one hour, not two.

  • What if I do not know exactly what is needed?

    Pick "Other", describe the problem and add photos. We do not price that kind of request online — we look at it first and confirm the price with you.

  • Should I have the materials ready?

    You do not have to, but if the part is already at home the job is usually quicker and cheaper. The booking asks about this.

  • Can you buy the materials?

    Yes, by arrangement. We charge the actual receipted price with no markup; time spent shopping is billable work when agreed.

  • How is travel outside Prague calculated?

    On top of the 249 CZK call-out we add 10 CZK/km for the distance outside Prague, counted there and back. The booking shows it as not yet confirmed — we establish the exact distance before the price is finally agreed.

  • Is the price final?

    The final price depends on the actual scope of the work. Anything above the confirmed estimate is agreed with you in advance — you will never learn about a higher price after the job is finished.

  • When is the appointment confirmed?

    When we confirm it to you. Submitting the request holds the slot, but we review the request first.

  • Do you do urgent repairs?

    We will try, if the technician genuinely has time. Urgency carries a 30% surcharge on labour. We are not a round-the-clock service and we do not guarantee arrival within a set time.

  • Do you do electrical installation work?

    Electrical installation work is not offered online at the moment and cannot be booked. We do not want to offer it before everything behind it is documented.
